Two dense rocks that fell from the sky in the remote village of Khalwat-Nimgaon, located in Beed's Wadwani taluka, Maharashtra, at around 14:00 LT (08:30 UTC) on March 3, 2025, have been confirmed as meteorites by scientists from MGM APJ Abdul Kalam Astro and Space Science Centre.

Schools in Santorini, Ios, Anafi, and Amorgos will remain closed at least until February 21, 2025, as the Greek government prepares for another meeting to assess seismic risks in the Aegean Sea near Santorini.
